Would it be a good idea to install a 'personal' firewall on DC?

I have Norton personal firewall 2002, which works good on all of my client
computers. I didn't install one on DC, since I heard there is a server
version of it. But the server edition (enterprise edition to be exact) is
just too expensive, and I was wondering if I can just use the personal
firewall on my DC. Would it affect the system in any negative way? has
anyone tried this before?

Suggestions / solutions / comments from anyone would be valued and
appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Do not install a firewall on your DC! It will wreak havoc on your internal
network and clients and nothing will work properly. I assume that this
machine is protected by a corporate firewall and is not directly on the
Internet? Now if this machine has two nics and one is internal and the other
external(Internet) than you should have a firewall to protect the external
nic but not the internal one. This is certainly not the best way to set this
up though.

I'm using a forwarder in DNS, and my DC isn't directly connected to the
internet. Another machine is distributing the internet connection to DC and
all other computers. But I only have personal firewall installed on the ICS
machine, and I'm using winXP on it. From what you're saying I assume I
don't need a firewall for any computer not directly connected to internet?

Protect your network at the perimeter - a good hardware firewall appliance
should be fine for this.
