Wot Cheap Laser Printer

Hi all,

I am thinking of replacing my trusty Minolta 1300w (mono) printer with a Minolta 2500/2530 (Colour) one.
Have been dead chuffed with the mono machine (& got Brother 3820 replaced by Bro' 5840,,, so am not expecting it to last too long !!)
It's purely for home use,,,, & I'd be interested in your pro's & con's for these machines,,,, or similar priced items.

I've got the Samsung CLP-500, and I love it - I've just seen that the CLP-300 is just under £160 inc del.

As you say it's for home use, I'm guessing there isn't going to be a high workload (i.e. 500+ sheets per month?). It it was going to be really high it may be worth going for a larger printer with cheaper toners. I must have printed around 800 sheets in the last year (mainly text/graphics with a few photos) and I've still got plenty of the initial toner left.
