every once in a while -- while using FP2002 to
FTP my web site updates -- Norton Antivirus 2005
pops up says it has detected ( and prevented a WORM )

this happens --- with a few different web sites
that do not have FP extensions.... but not all the time...

the FTP always completes successfully

but this worm - warning does not happen all
the time ( when I am publishing ) - just once in a while

Do you have a "oddly" named file that could be triggering it, or do you have
scripting on your pages??

the one host provider that it happens most frequently
with ( http://www.accesscomm.ca/ ) is as plain vanilla as you can get...

not ASP -- no PHP -- no database -- no CGI -- no java
just a little javascript

I though it just might have been something weird between
FP - and its FTP functionality -- and Norton

oh -well -- thank you for your assistance
