Worm virus: I disabled RPC, can't get re-enabled

I disabled RPC via the Services Control panel. Now i can't
get it re-enabled (I can get to the services control
panel, but when i try to start RPC, i get a msg that says
it's been disabled. If i try to right-click and select
Properties, nothing happens!)

This seems to work quite well. Apply them to the
domain...it buys you enough time on each computer to
install the needed patches.

thanks, but i have a bigger problem--i DISABLED RPC, and
now i can't get it re-enabled. Any ideas?
