worm.Gibe.F virus

Received A Microsoft Corporation Sercurity Bulletin ,
subject: Latest Patch
the patch was listed as install296
included worm virus. origin unknown
have scanned system three times, cannot find it, yet it
has invaded my juno program in some way. Does not seem to
be infecting my address book as of yet.

Any suggestions on removal. I cannot even find it, but
email filters identify it.

Help!

Microsoft NEVER sends patches by mail.
Update your anti-virus definitions and run a complete scan.
 
I got caught out too with this virus - it was so
convincing !!!

Visit Symantec's Website on the worm.Gibe.B - virus.
the .f virus is a strand of this. Symantec recommended in
doing a re-instal of your Windows OS system (mine is ME) -
tried this and looks like it has worked !
