My question is, how can I get WoW to play??? Everytime, I start it up, it
goes through the patcher and everything, then it says something about the c
directory... I can't remember what it says, but then it gives me an option
of searching through the files and then fixing the problem... I do that, and
then it gets done, and the screen closes... I restart WoW, and then it does
the same thing... Any help or suggestions??? Tonight when I get home, I can
find out what the error is for sure, but thanks in advance for any help...

You need to make sure the patcher runs with administrative rights. To do
this right-click on the WoW shortcut and click Run as administrator, it
should then download the patch data and start the patcher program correctly.

I'm hoping Blizzard will sort something out in the near future, its a pretty
straight forward fix required.

Ok... I fixed that problem... I can get into the game itself and run around
for a while, but then after a few minutes, it restarts my computer completely
with a shutdown error or something... It usually happens when I left click on
something... Any ideas there??? By the way... Thank you for the help with my
last issue. :)

That's probably down to the video driver. Check on Intel's website to see
if they have a newer one.

Here's the page on Intel's website to download the updated drivers:

Hopefully those will sort the issue out.

I had an issue like that once. Turned out to be the video card itself.

I do have a new issue with World of Warcraft and my Logitech G15
gaming keyboard and Vista Ultimate. I believe it may be a driver
issue.

With the G15 keys I have a couple of them to perform certain macro's.
Nothing combative. Just a simple /exit, /wave, /roll 100. Couple of
others but you get the idea. Now when I select a player to /wave, in
Wow it shows 7 /waves. And if I roll (/roll 100) on a certain loot I
get the same 7 rolls.

I removed the Logitech keyboard drivers and re-installed them.
Re-assigned the keys again. All seem to work again. That night I put
the computer to sleep mode. Next I start Wow again. And the same thing
happens as before (7 /waves and /rolls).

My computer system:

Windows Vista Ultimate
2 Gig memory
Asus P5B Deluxe
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
Ati Radeon X1950Pro
Logitech G15 gaming keyboard and latest drivers
Logitech MX518 mouse
Soundblaster Audigy 2
Wd hard drives

The G15 problem is UAC. It works fine if UAC is off. I heard Logitech is
working on the problem.

A Problem I am having with WoW on my laptop is that the sound lags out and
sometimes slows the game down to a halt. It starts doing it on the opening
screen with the splash with username and password on it. it sounds very
crakley and pops alot. also it makes the mouse jerk like the pc is bogging
down. in game i still get pops and sometimes lags the game out horrible.
anyone have any ideas?
