Hi all. I've seen this question posed before, but usually in a
workgroup environment. I have a Server 2003 domain with about 15
clients, and about once a day (sometimes more, sometimes less) various
users will suddenly lose access to network shares, and be prompted for
another username/password to log in. If they try to use whatever
username they are logged in as already, the connection will be refused.
Also, on XP machines with the XP Style start menu, the username goes
from "First Last" to "username" (for instance, mine goes from Dave
Foster to dfoster). This is always a sign that the workstation is
locked out of the network shares.
The only temporary solution I have found is a reboot on the user end...
Any input would be appreciated in fixing this frustrating problem!
Thanks,
Dave
