So searching the forums and other's questions I have to say that my problems
are simular, but the solutions did not fix mine. A little background on the
network. Two offices each have a server with the corporate office being the
enterprise domain host and the satalite office being just that, a satalite.
The satalite office network was set up almos exacly the same as the corp
office with the exception of having a sub domain name different than the main
location to keep the "network neighbourhoods" seporated via office location.
Now down to the issue at hand. The satalite locatoin is seeing the servers
from every pc but only selective pc's form each individual pc. the server
itself only sees 4 pc's and one of them is the nas backup server. I tried
using browstat to see if i have too many brower servers on the network and
the only two listed on the three pcs i ran it on was the Main server and the
backup server. A security policy is in place and sharing is enabled, if in
intranet explorer i can type \\computername in and see the shared folders,
but in network neighbourhood they don't show up. Help!!!

I would rephrase the question as," Why do you want to do this anyway?"

If you have a reliable server with backup, why store data on desktops where
you can bet it it won't be backed-up, and where it will randomly appear and
disappear from view when the computer in-question is turned on/off, and
where access-problems will perennially arise every time a user changes their
password or a computer gets renamed?

If you make the LAN server-centric then you have only one connection per
desktop to worry about, instead of computers*(computers-1) connections.
