Sorry if this is posted in the wrong group; I didn't see any Windows 2003
Server groups.
Anyway, I have a problem getting workstations (all running Windows XP SP1)
to autoupdate from Windows Update per the group policy setting I have
defined in the Active Directory OU. The strange thing is that the same
group policy also handles Microsoft Office installations, which is working
fine.
The OU is called "Workstations" and here is what I have enabled in the group
policy:
Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Windows
Update:
- Configure Automatic Updates: Enabled with 4 - Auto download and schedule
the installation Every Day at 22:00.
The "specify Intranet location of update server" is set to Not Configured.
Is there something else I need to turn on somewhere?
Thanks for any insights...
