I agree with mentioning Google Groups search to posters.

Have any of the MVPs mentioned adding a plug for Google Groups searches to
Microsoft, or has prior experience shown that Microsoft would never provide
*unpaid* plugs for anyone else's goods or services?

Hi Guys,

There was an article at the J-Walk Blog not too long ago
that had some MSFT propaganda claiming the MSN.COM search
tool is the most widely used on the net. Believe that? The
idea is very good and would actually benefit MSFT
indirectly. But in the end, there's no way!

May be some truth in that if you type google
or type ibm on the address bar and neglect to then hit ctrl+enter
you invoke the MSN.Com search. But I can't imagine
mistakes would put them over Google. .
