Is it possible to make worksheet tabs (at th bottom of the spreadsheet
different colours, as it was in Lotus 123?
Thanks

Hi mj6987!

This was *the* major innovation of Excel 2002. Before that, it wasn't
possible.

But less facetiously, it can be useful.

I love this feature - Always loved it in Lotus and love it in Excel. Makes it
real easy to visually group sheets in a multisheet workbook, and also take the
focus to a summary sheet, or umpteen other similar considerations.

Yeah far more important than increasing the number of conditional format
conditions, DATEDIF documentation, consistent array handling, and so on, and
so on

Hi Bob!

And you forgot to add, "getting RAND working properly!"

I'm sure the reason why they dropped the Help for DATEDIF between 2000
and 2002 was to make way for coloured sheet tabs.

Having said that, it is good to be able to get a coloured
classification going on occasions.

Hi. I'm not sure if your question was answered. You can
change the tab color by right clicking on the tab and
selecting tab color.

Mike.

LOL - You are quite correct - In all that we never actually got round to doing
that bit, so thanks for the pickup :-)
