works 8 key invalid in viste

when I try to install works 8 on vista laptop I get message
invalid product key ? help
 
Make sure you are reading the product key for
Microsoft Works correctly and typing it in correctly.
Sometimes the product key characters appear
different from what they really are. For example,
the letter "B" may actually be the number "8".
The letter "O" may actually be the letter "Q".

In addition to what Carey said, ensure that you are actually using the WORKS
key and not the key for something else - i.e. Windows.

Are you sure you are using the correct key? Use the one for Works, not
the one for Windows that's on the bottom of the laptop.
