Works 7.0 word processor problem

The icons for cut, copy, paste on the toolbar are suddenly not highlighted so I can't do any of these functions. I tried turning the computer off and later restarting it. No luck. Still cannot copy, paste, etc. NEED HELP! Thanks.
 
Try Cont/C for Copy, Cont/X for Cut and Cont/V for Paste.

This is the MS Access (the database program) newsgroup. Try
annexcafe.general.user2user newsgroup. or a MS Works newsgroup
