Working with the SIP

Two questions:

1) Is there a way to programatically force the SIP into numeric mode?

2) Is there a version of the SIP or a third-party component that would
provide a simpler numeric mode... just numbers, the decimal point, and maybe
a minus sign, with all of the items being larger for easier entry with
fingers?

Thanks!

PPC 2003, CF2.

We are exploring, Daniel. We've had some projects sitting on the shelf for
several months waiting to wrap up a release of our desktop app, and the
formal release of VS2005 with an accompanied set of official third-party
accessories. We are relatively new to .Net and the CF. We are running some
prototype UI ideas through implementations on PPC2003 CF2 and the 2003
version of the SmartPhone. Hense, we appear to be all over the board.

I apologize if our questions seem simple, obtuse, or incomplete. We'll keep
trying to do better. If there is another forum that would be more
appropriate for our questions, we will gladly go there. Our first choice
would be to find a company/organization that has experience in these
platforms and hire them as consultants to answer our questions via e-mail and
help us get onto the fast track, but we have been unsuccessful in that search.

In the mean time, I am very appreciative of the answers that you have
provided, and I have marked your responses as "Yes, this response was
helpful" and "Yes, this answered the question", in an effort to reflect that.

Thanks again for the responses.

No your questions are not simple, obtuse or incomplete. I hope our answers
are not either and that any newbie guidance is seen as helpful and not rude.

This is the best forum for netcf questions and you are doing the right
thing. If you need dedicated direct help with questions or product
development for pay, feel free to contact me offline. Otherwise, see you
here on your next question.

Cheers
Daniel
