Hi,

In OE6, when I created 'Groups' for my contacts I was able to move each
contact into the appropriate 'Group' where they would reside exclusively, no
longer in my main contacts lists. I was also able to select individuals in
the 'Group' if I didn't want to send an email to every one in it. I can't
figure out how to do any of that in WinMail.

Help, please.

if not sending to individuals in the group is a common thing you might try what I have done.
create different groups with similar names that do not include the individuals that would sometimes not be included.

xxxxxxnoyyyyy
xxxxxxnozzzzz
xxxxxxnoeeee

that way I just enter the groupno???? for mailing.
makes the contacts list a little larger, but makes mailing easier.
mine specifically is to family groups, but do not want to forward to the same individual that sent to me, so the groups eliminate that individual.
