Working with Bullet Points

I am trying to create a slide with a bullet point and then several "sub" points. But when I view the slide show, when I click my mouse the main bullet point comes in along w/ all the sub points. How do I seperate those without making all of them main bullet points?

You need to change the "Group By" value for the bullets to one level higher
than the number of indentations you have on the slide. This value is located
in two different places, depending on which version of PowerPoint you have :
In PPT 2000 and earlier:
Right click the placeholder and select Custom Animation which will bring up
the Custom Animation window. The Group By drop-down is on the Effects tab.
To activate it, you must have an animation set. "Introduce Text" should be
set to all at once (the others will work as well, but won't look as
professional). Click the check box for "Group By" and then set the value
from the drop down list.
In PPT 2002 and later:
Right click the placeholder and select Custom Animation, which will bring up
the Custom Animation taskpane. Right click again on the animation for the
placeholder (or click the drop down on the right side of the animation) and
select "Effect Options". The Group By dropdown is on the "Text Animations"
tab. In these versions, there is no check box, there is just the drop down.

Post back and let us know if this does what you need!
