Working Remotely

I've only tried this once, however there is still a problem. When I opened
Winodws Messenger to try to remote help someone, all I got was their logon
screen, and then the computer froze.

Not enough information.

Some things to provide...
- what oses were involved and at what patch level
- what their connection to the Internet was
- the current condition of their machine
- the status of their firewall
- if you tried to get the invitation via email as well
- the current condition of your machine
- what its firewall was set for(what it was/is)
- and if you or they were behind any routers of any sort..
