Prince

I have a Lan with one domain controller running windows
2000 advanced server and 24 workstations running windows
2000.the ip address of the server is 192.168.1.1 .Recently
my network was connected to my university network and i was
asked to use their proxy server to access internet. The ip
address of the proxy server is 10.1.1.1.

1. what should I do to connect to the proxy server?
2.should i change my ip address and subnet mask?

Hi Prince,

All you should need to do is to configure to use their proxy server in your IE browser on your
client machines.

If that does not work, you will need to contact their networking folks, as I have no way of
knowing how they connected you and what priveleges they are allowing.

Thanks,
Gary
