workgroups

hi,
ive linked my 2 pcs up using nic-nic to allow me to share
files and the internet. i can access the internet fine on
both computers now, but i cannot share files or detect
the other pc (on either computer).
ive set up the network installer from the winXP cd (im
using XP on both pc's) and assigned the workgroup
name "HOME" and given both computers a name, but if i go
to "my network places" or "view workgroup computers" i
can never see the other pc.

thnx for any help
 
Share the folders and give rights to world. Try to map
drive anyway, sometimes the workgroup will not show up but
you can still map drives.
