I have by mistake created a second Network Connection on my guest computer
with a different workgroup to the host (as well as a correct one). I do not
seem to be able to delete this unwanted connection ... can I delete? If so
how?

Without knowing anything about the second network connection, it's
hard for us to say what it is and whether it's safe to delete it.
Please reply to this message in the news group (not by E-mail) with
more information to help other people understand the problem.

1. How did you create the second network connection?

2. What is the connection's name?

3. What type of connection is it -- Broadband, Dial-up, Incoming, LAN
or High-Speed Internet, or something else

4. What do you see if you right-click the connection and click
Properties?

5. Anything else that will identify the connection.

Workgroup names aren't associated with network connections. A
computer can have only one workgroup name, even if it has multiple
network connections. To change the computer's workgroup name:

1. Right-click My Computer.
2. Click Properties.
3. Click Computer Name.
4. Click Change.
5. Enter the desired workgroup name.
