Workgroups, moving computers

I have three workgroups on my server. I would like to consolidate everything
to one workgroup. How can I move computers to a single workgroup, or is
there a better way of doing this?

What is the combined number of computers in the three groups?
Are they all on the same segment? No vlans, or multiple lans
with routers?
