Workgroups inside domains

Hi! I'm upgrading some of my computers in my network to
Windows XP. The problem is that when I join to the domain
i don't seem to have the posibility of making the computer
be on a workroup too.

So, basically the question comes down to:
Is there any way i can have win XP in a workgroup under a
domain?

No, there isn't. Domains and workgroups are mutually exclusive.
