workgroup vs. mshome

My home is networked as mshome, running xp,
I'm trying to to print from my laptop running 2Kpro which
is config as a workgroup.
The mshome desk top can see the workgroup laptop, but the
laptop can not find the printer on the desktop.
Ani ideas how I can print using this set up ?
