WorkGroup Question

My database crashed the other day so i am starting one from scratch but what
i see as an issue is when i open a brand new database, the security from the
old work group is still there and the login screen appears for a new
database. Can this be removed. How can i start fresh with a new workgroup and
security file?

You are joined by default to a workgroup file that has the password set for
the Admin User. Use workgroup administrator to rejoin the standard
system.mdw workgroup file.

However, you may not need to start over at all. Have you tried to Compact
and repair your old mdb? (Tools, Database Utilities).

If that failed, have you tried jetcomp from MS?

You misunderstand some basic facts about how it all works. You need to
obtain & follow a written list of explicit instructions - eg. the
Access security FAQ, often referenced in this newsgroup. It's too hard
to understand it properly just by running the wizard & reading the help
files.
