workgroup problem

I have posted similar questions previously, but still
cannot get my head round this.

I have set up a database. I followed instructions to set
up a new database using the Overview of How to Secure a
Microsoft Database and import the objects of the original
database. However, I am getting the message:-

You do not have the necessary permissions to use
the "database" object. Have your system administrator or
the person who created this object establish the
appropriate permissions for you.

What I do not understand is that I am the owner of the
database. I am using the new workgroup in which I am a
member of the admins group with full permissions. I am
logged in as myself as part of this group. Why can I not
import objects from this database? Why do I not have full
permissions despite being part of the admins group.
Answers to my previous posts suggest I am not using the
correct workgroup - which I am because I have checked many
times, or that I am using an invalid user/pass.

I can get in to the new database and import objects from
other non secured database, but when I want to import
objects from this secured database, I get this above
message.

Any more suggestions on why this is happening. How do I
remove all security from this original database so I can
then import all the objects in to the new secured
database.

I would suggest you follow the steps outlined in the security FAQ

Because the other database was secured using a different workgroup file -
The Admins group in it is not the same as the Admins group in your new
workgroup.
How do I
remove all security from this original database so I can
then import all the objects in to the new secured
database.

Log in using the old workgroup file. Then give full permissions to the
Users group. You'll then be able to import into a new database.
