workgroup info file

I was told that a possible performance issue on by Access 2002 app was that I was using a workgroup information file (system.mda) created with a previous version of Access (probably 97). How do I convert that to the current version?
 
Hello,

You can't directly converty .mda file to .mdw file.
You have couple options:

1 - If you know the exact original workgroup information that were used
then create a new mdw file using that information

2 - If you don't know those workgroup ID information then import objects
into a new database and use the user-level
security wizards to resecure objects.
