Hi!
I've been using a number of windows PCs configured in a
Workgoup at home for a while. Currently I have about 4 of
them, running Win98 and W2K.
They're all runnning fine.
Well, recently I got a Dell Inspiron1100, and installed
W2K on it.
And now I can't access any network resources from this
laptop. I also can't access anything on this laptop from
other PCs.
I do have file and printer sharing enabled across the
board, and created some shares on laptop with open access.
Laptop name is visible in the list of host names
in "Computers near me", as seen from other PCs, but
clicking on it times out.
Opening "Computers near me" on laptop times out -
workgroup not accessible.
Laptop can get on the internet no problem.
Also I can ping any other PC from the laptop, but pinging
laptop from other PCs times out!
I'm at my wit'e end!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
