Wordwrap in Calendar 2007

In Outlook's Calendar 2003, the monthly calendar would wordwrap on
appointments where space permitted. 2007 does not appear to have that
capability. Anyone know how to do it? The truncated appointments are
basically useless.

This has been an annoyance for me, too. I've tried to work around it through
judicious use of the "To-Do Bar", but I think word wrap was better. I've
looked for a solution but found nothing.

If you use the Calendar Printing Assistant for Outlook 2007, you can
view/print a monthly view where the text for timed appointments will wrap,
space permitting. All day events will not wrap.

I don't see any difference after installing it. Or, more likely, I don't see
how to use or invoke it.

It doesn't actually change the calendar display within Outlook -- unless I
missed some feature of it. Instead, this installs as a separate executable
that is invoked from a shortcut under the Office Tools submenu. It lets you
apply lots of different templates for printing the calendar, as its name
implies.

Yeah, I'd rather have the ability to change the way the calendar is
displayed within Outlook, but it's nice to have this much flexibility, at
least, in setting up the printout. I guess I'll start printing the calendar,
maybe to .xps or .pdf instead of to paper.

it only applied to printed calendars - it will affect the view in outlook.
it's currently "broken" an is not fixed in sp1. Best bet is, if you've just
installed 2007 within the last 90 days or have a support contract to call
and open a support incident for it. If enough complain, we might see a fix
in sp2.

Very interesting. I haven't used either of my TechNet Plus support incidents
this year. Maybe I'll use one on this!

Okay, this is weird. I'm using Outlook's Calendar 2003, and it won't word
wrap. How can I get it to do that?

Thanks,
-laura

this is some three months later that this individual's wrap text issue has
not been resolved. i have been trying to find the resolve myself with not
luck. have enough people complained? Not very customer service savy to try
and sell a product. Especially when the customer service department keeps
sending one to different sites to get the answer. not sure why this was
overlooked, since so many buisinesses are dependent on your calendars.

Assuming enough people complained (or the largest companies), it will take
longer than 3 months for a fix and it will most be released to those who
call in before its released to the general population.

And this is not Microsoft so if that is who you mean by "your calendars" you have the wrong target.
