Not quite the same, the coolermaster is a true "squirrel cage fan"
setup while the Asus design looks to be using a typical case fan
mounted in a jet engine shroud. I almost had a good laugh at first
when I saw the pics.

I like the "puffery" on the Asus site about blowing the hot air out of
the case, yet I don't see any ducting to connect an air passage from
the fans exhaust to a rear case fan mounting location. I would think
a flexible shroud/hose would be fairly inexpensive, something like an
electric dryer flex hose, but the HSF fan shroud needs a compatible
mounting arrangement/ring. Maybe I should file for a patent on a HSF
with an integral flex hose mounting, lol.

here this one looks more "jet engine" type.
I run the Aero 7lite on my system and the damn thing works exceptionally well.
The ASUS thing really looks too heavy to hang onto a CPU.Judging by the
description it seems to rely on the Copper Heat Sink and heat pipes to lift the
air off the CPU and the fan(s) blow over the heat sink without actually blowing
any cool air over the CPU.It is 144mm high ...thats almost 51/2in high a normal
case is only about 8in wide the MOBO is inset about 2 in ....that makes for a
very very tight fit.

LOL! My bad!

No weight spec :-)
Copper fins.
Should torque the motherboard nicely.
All it needs now, is a plastic duct kit, so it can vent to
the side of the case.

"Incorporated UV LED lights" for that circus touch.

And the fan is "1 ball bearing".

Looks like something removed from the tail fins of an
old Cadillac.

Sure does look like a jet engine, lol. I note the Coolermaster fan is
like the aero7 series, a true squirrel cage fan setup, versus the Asus
product's radial fin fan design. I put an aero7 in 1 or 2 systems I
built for others, I thought they were a bit noisy at full speed, but
did a nice job of cooling.

I SOOOOOOOO want this for my new system. Any idea where to buy it, and how
much? I just searched Ebay, and it ain't there.
