I am having trouble setting up my WordPad so that when I want to retype a
word, the letters to the right also move along with the new letters that I
am typing. Where do I click to get this function turned on? THANKS

I answered this question two days ago. Did you try what I
suggested? "This has nothing to with Wordpad or with any
application program.
It's a system-wide setting. The Insert key toggles it on and off,
changing from what's called Insert mode to Overstrike mode. You
want Insert mode."

You received answers to this question days ago from at least three people.

You mean toggling insert/overwrite mode using the "insert" key....
