I using standard Wordpad on win xp home..

My computer only has a photo printer so i cant print documents myself, so i
have to send them to disk to use on another computer to print out, but here
my problem....

basically i cant FORCE my wordpad to use a a4 page format, i need the rulers
and margins of a a4 page to give me guideline of the real layout of the
document, but page setup only allows me to use the photo printers size which
is no good.

is they anyway i can force the a4 page setup even tho its not in the page
setup settings?

Wordpad is pretty simple. If you want a more sophisticated word
processor that will allow you to set up templates, use something other
than Wordpad. OpenOffice is free and Writer is quite nice. Get OO from
www.openoffice.org.

Install the printer driver from the other computer and use that.
It will have the A4 page settings.

Silly me, not realizing that a photo printer can't print documents, I went
ahead and printed them anyway. My Photo 1280 has printed up to 100 page
Word documents and similarly sized Excel spreadsheets.
