Wordpad messages post with double lines

How do I post Wordpad messages in a newsgroup using Outlook Express without
having a blank line between every line of the message?
(These are poems with line breaks).

Even when I save the message in DOS text format, I get the spaces between
lines.

Try this: copy the text into a new message in OE and also make sure
that OE sends messages in plain text only. If this does not work: copy
the text to NOTEPAD.EXE and then copy it to OE from here.

What Thorsten said.

Another thing to try is in the message click Format | Rich Text (HTML) and
then click Format | Plain Text.
