Wordpad history?

How do I clear these entries?

In 'Wordpad' under the 'File' button is a list of
documents:
1 xxxxx.doc
2 yyyyyy.doc
3 zzzx.rtf

These are previous documents that I editted.
I cleared recent documents in Start menu.
Can not find any history in wordpad.
They do not appear in Notepad.

The file history is kept in the registry. The MRU (most
recently used) list can be removed using regedit and this
key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\Applets\Wordpad\Recent File List

The next time you use wordpad this registry key and the
MRU list will be recreated.
