Word

[Word will not execute]

I just installed Microsoft Windows XP Pro on my
computer. In addition I also just installed Microsoft
Office 2000 Pro. Most of Office seems to run fine,
however Word won't execute! When I click on the icon to
start it I get the error message: Word has encountered a
problem and needs to close. In the add/remove software
feature in the control panel, I have tried both fixing
and even reinstalling Office. Neither seems to work. Do
I have to reinstall Windows XP? Any less drastic
suggestions? Please email your suggestion to
