Word 98? Do you use a Mac or PC? There is no Word 98 for PC users...
There is Word 97, Word 2000, Word XP (aka 2002) and now Word 2003
Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows XP???
If you have Word 97 or Word 2000 --- how do you use it? Most of the basics
of the application have not changed. However there have been significant
changes in the "web-ability" of Word Documents. (at least with XP -- I
haven't seen 2003). There were some additional new features in Word XP such
as the Task Pane -- which I have heard mixed reviews of -- some people love
it -- others who only do basic word processing absolutely HATE IT!
So please confirm which version you have (In Word --go to HELP -- About
Word) -- and then briefly describe how you use Word and then you will get
some meaningful advise regarding the benefits (or lack thereof) relative to
upgrading.
