I was approached with a request from a friend. Somebody gave him to make a template
questionnaire.
What he did is i.e.:
Name:_________________________
Suriname:______________________
Basically he used the underline (iI think that is what is called) symbol but when the
text is entered in the line, the line starts moving to another space. Is there any
function-option that would stop it doing this.
TIA to anyone who replies.

What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." Check this
in help. For more about online forms, follow the links at
http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/FillinTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles.

Hope this helps,

I set tabs on the ruler, toggle the underline button and tab
over.
