I have Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002. It does
all the word processing in works (word Perfect), but I
only want to work in Word. What can I change to get rid
of the Work Perfect totally and convert completely to
Word? Thanks

Would this not get rid of the Works data base and spreadsheet? Word and
Works can reside together and my system has all (Works & Word).

Works, Word and WordPerfect are all different (except that
Works Suite does include Word). Do you have Word? If so,
what is preventing you from using it--your tiny brain,
perhaps?

Hey Wislu, Take your arrogant attitude somewhere else. I am sick of seeing
your smart a** responses to people with questions. If you use your tiny brain
you would see this group is called "NEW USERS".

Save as .doc document or .txt files.

You could download and install OpenOffice.org (from www.openoffice.org).
It is really very good, is free, open source, and can open and save in
Word format.
