Word Pad does not save full file

Noticed that I lost 99% of my file when I saved it. Also, tried to copy the file I recreated and could not paste it to any program.

Next time try pasting smaller blocks. This used to happen to me also, my
system would run out of memory to perform the pasting. I don't know about
the saving, normally when I ran out of memory I couldn't save at all.
