Naw, you missed it. Shaun uses WLM 15 (Windows Live Mail),
so nobody can tell who said what in his posting. And you can
thank Microsoft for WLM 15. After a while, we get tired of
telling people to stop using it. If you must use WLM, go
back to WLM 14. It works a bit better.

Oh well... but I just don't bother with WLM to even know about it.
I spent enough time learning the pitfalls of OutLeak and Outhouse
Express to even consider them anymore.

Still, the prime reason was exposing the nymshift. Skyfart is a special
case on Usenet. Most of us are willing to cut slack on n00bies, it's
just the way it is. Anybody following a thread on the "usual n00b" will
see that there's some good info passed on as education "downthread".

Skyfart is in "it's" own dimension, can't sort fiction from fact.

I didn't now Windows Live Mail was a problem like that. I just started
using it over the last three weeks after I built my new computer system.
I have a copy of 14, I'll try installing it to see the difference. Do you
know if it will transfer all my emails and contact back to a previous
version of WLM.

WLM 15 doesn't quote text properly.

I'm not really sure on the details of moving back to WLM 14.
But I've been told it works better than WLM 15.

I use Thunderbird 2 (current version is 3) for posting to USENET,
and something entirely different for email. That way, no personal
emails get posted to USENET and vice versa.

Everyone has different tastes in USENET clients, so some will
like Thunderbird and some will hate it. There are even a few
people who cling to WLM 15 (they refuse to change), but I fail
to see the attraction of using it. It screws up the handling
of the previous message's signature line, and doesn't do quoting
properly.

choose but still like to get assistance so they need a different nym.

Cut the crap, you guys so fokking stupid and unexperienced, you can't even
figured out what happened ! LOL... OK perhaps it's a bit too difficult for
you so I will explain.

First of all THANK MICROSOFT for this mess.

The following happened:

1. My DreamPC died, which has outlook express, right before it died I
transfered my outlook express virtual disk to the other PC.

2. However outlook express is too stupid to store everything into one
folder/virtual disk, instead it stores my outlook express address book
somewhere in the folder mess that's called "my documents" and crap like
that... "application data" that sort of crap.

3. Consequence is:

I lost my address book, and mail settings and account settings.

4. Thus I had no choice but use old settings from old computer.

Which had a different e-mail address and different filter.

So in short:

1. DreamPC outlook express (fake) e-mail is:

IntoTheFuture@? (can't remember rest)

2. Pentium III outlook express (fake) e-mail is:

BloodyShame@... (whatever)


So there ya go fokkers !

Another mystery explained !

It was driving you nuts wasn't it ! LOL.

Just filter on "Skybuck Flying" if you want too...

I make absolutely no garantees that I will not change my fake e-mail address
in the future ! ;) =D
