Hi Everyone, Two basic questions. Word 2000

1- Is there a size limit to a Word document? How many pages, etc.?

2- If Word is slow to open at 600 pages (reason for Q1 above) what could be
the cause(s)?

thank you for your time.

The only known limit is 32 MB of text only (not counting graphics).
Performance depends a lot on how much RAM you have and available HD space
(processor speed is less a factor). Long tables can slow Word down a lot;
