Hi,

I've been running Word 2003 for 2 days without problems (after setting up my
personal templates and startup folders).

After running Outlook 2003 for the first time, I deleted the Insert Viso
Button.dot that was in c:program files\microsoft office\templates since I
don't use it.

Now Outlook and Word 2003 always seach for this template upon loading. This
gets annoying since I get the seach msgbox twice and then a msgbox saying it
can't find the template.

I went to the templates/addins dialog but cannot delete it from there. It's
unchecked but "delete" is grayed out.

I'd appreceate any help on getting rid of it for good.

Regards,
Raymond

Under Templates and Add-Ins, if you select it, is "delete" still grayed out?

Yes it was still grayed out.

After opening and closing Outlook (just to get the LDAP dialog info) and
leaving my computer for a few minutes, I got a msgbox right on my desktop
saying that the template could not be found (this was about a shortcut
pointing to the template). Fortunately, there was a delete button on that
dialog. Problem solved.

Now, does anyone have an idea of where this shortcut was or from where this
dialog came from?

Best regards,
Raymond
