There is no "Word for Vista" product as such...

Word, like most of the other Office products, is available individually:

Every version of Word from 2000 inclusive is reported to run well on Vista -
there have even been reports of people persuading Word 97 to run...

And you would be in for a big surprise. They work just as fast and good on Vista as on any other OS. Granted they do not have as many options like the 30 and 07 versions but they work seamlessly
