Word Files

Hi all my Word files have changed to WordPad and the icon
has changed as well - any idea how this has happened ?
Do I need to take any action

Hi Rob,
It appears your file association with Microsoft Word documents has been
changed to WordPad.

Go to Windows Explore.
Tools menu, Folder Options, File Types
Scroll until you see DOC under extensions and highlight it
Check the Opens With section
Click the Change button
Select Microsoft Office Word
Click OK and Apply
