Word Files Won't Alphabetize

Can someone help me? My word files won't stay in
alphabetical order. They scramble everytime I open and
close the indexes. Any suggestions?
 
Change the File Open dialog to Details view if necessary and click on the
Name heading. Then return to your preferred view if other than Details.
