Hi,
I run Win XP Pro on my laptop and Win 2k on my desktop computer. I'm having
the same problem with both.
I use shortcuts to Windows Explorer as ways to open Explorer in the folder I
want. For example, one shortcut has as its target "C:\Dan's Data". When
Explorer opens, I click on a Word document, and Word opens.
The problem is that Word sometimes then freezes, with its blue top border
blinking. I have to use Task Manager to close it. This never happens
except when I have used a shortcut to a particular folder to open Windows
Explorer.
I'm trying this forum, although I know the forum on Word might be the right
place.
Many thanks in advance.
