Word Editor Launches with large space between tool bars at top of page

I have Outlook 2000 with Word 2000 and when I launch a new
e-mail message the Word launches as the editor but there
is at least three inches between each tool bar at the top
of the screen. I have to move the tool bars to the top of
the screen each time I ewant to compose a new message to
get to the message entry field.
 
Try clicking Tools > Customize > Toolbars > then highlight each one in turn
and click Reset.
