We have been embedding Pieces of Word Documents into
reports since Access 97. We currently are running Access
2003. This is the first report we are creating since we
upgraded.

Whe have a word docuemnt that we insert as the top of the
report, and other pieces throughout the report, with
dynamic data inbetween based on query results.

In this version, the pieces we are inserting, which are
12pt Times New Roman in the word document on the screen,
look more like 18pt when printed in the report!
Everything looks about 25% bigger in the report, except
for the dynamic text from the query, which looks like it
is the correct size.

Has anyone seen this?

Hi Howald,

This is the email for this issue:

---------------
Hi Howard,

This problem with the Word OLE object has been reported to our developers
and they have
been able to reproduce the same behavior based on the steps provided. Thank
you for bringing the
problem to our attention!

At this point only workaround we found was to set OLE size to Zoom. Here
are the steps:

1. Insert a blank Word doc.
2. View the properties for the Unbound Object Frame.
3. Click on the Unbound Object Frame control in the toolbox to view the
Default Unbound Object Frame properties.
4. Set the SizeMode property to Zoom. (Setting the height and width
properties appears to have no effect).
5. Insert your Word doc. When drawing the frame on the form/report,
ensure its height exceeds the height of the text in the Word doc.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you need me to do anything
further.

Thanks and please feel free to post here if there is any question on it.

Best regards,
