Hello John:

Thanks for taking the time to help out...here is what I'm
doing. I created an OLE object field; I right click on
the field, go to the insert object, go to the create from
file choice, browse for the word document and click on
the link field. I'm able to open the first page in the
word document, but page 2 etc...are not visible. I do
get an error message that the macros in the project are
disabled. If possible I would like to use the method I
have set up ....if there is a way to publish more than
one page. Your advice is greatly appreciated. Ty

Ty:

There is no way to publish more than one page in an OLE object embedded in
an Access report. If you really have that much Word document information,
then you should reverse the process you are using and create Mail merge
templates from your Word documents and pull the Access data into the Word
document rather than the other way around.

Thanks Steve...I appreciate your help, but have a few
more questions. The information is in Word (a series of
articles that I need to put in order coordinating a date
field) I don't have the articles embedded- but linked in
an OLE field. In the query I can completely see the full
article when I click on the field where the OLE field
object has been linked...the same goes for the table, I
can see the complete article...but when I try to publish
it in a report, that is when I can only see the first
page. I apologize if I'm a bit thick with this....I have
spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out a way to
publish a series of word articles in a sequential order
coordinated with a date field. Your help is greatly
appreciated!

Ty:

As I said, there is NO way to have an OLE field in a report display more
than one page of a word document. You can't scroll, it won't page down etc.

The only option that I could suggest is to output the Word Documents (as
stand alone files) and your interspersed Access data as PDF files, then
combine those files into one document. Our PDF and Mail library, PDF Pro
Plus edition, would allow you to do just that if you are interested in
exploring that option. You'll find it on our web.
