Word Crashes! Why?

Hi,

I seem to have a problem with Word!

If someone sends me an email with a word doc and I open
it, as soon as I try to save as word just closes! No
questions about where would you like to save it too, just
bang - Gone

If the doc is then opened again, it's fine.

Does anyone know why this happens?

It's doing it on 3 machines now!
