Hi,
I'm running Windows Mail under Vista and am having trouble with Word doc
attachments in messages. When I try to open a Word doc from an email, I get
an error message: "This file does not have a program associated with it for
performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations
control panel"
I have Office 2007 installed, and all the Word associations are already set.
I can save the Word doc from the email message and open it from my PC with
no problem. Also, I can open XLS, PPT, and other Office documents from an
email message. So it's only Word that seems to have this problem.
Is this a bug in Windows Mail or Word 2007? Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks for your help.
